What’s the best way to say goodbye? At any rate of the circumstances of your departure, if you are about to resign, your first duty is to let your employer know that you are resigning. You need to part on good terms and you don’t want your boss hearing rumors of your disappearance through the rumor mill.

The next step is to send a goodbye message to co-workers and to let them know that you are moving on to a new chosen career, and that you’re ready to do something else with your life. It’s appropriate to send an email farewell letter. You can include contact information so you can stay in touch.

When you know it is time to quit a job, you must know how to do it the right way. You will never regret a well planned action. Once you know how to plan your exit the right way, saying goodbye to work becomes easier and effective.

One thing that is important is you must be careful not to send out any email in anger it might only harm your future career prospects. It may not affect you immediately but it might be sometime in future. The farewell email to friends and co-workers should be more about informing them that you are leaving your job and the company and how they can contact you thereafter. And of course, the good times you have shared with them.

Don’t ever burn your bridges maintain, the harmonious relationship you have with them. Ensure that your boss bridge remain strong for you’ll need references soon enough or whenever you are applying for a job. If you are really frustrated with everything around, then it is better not to send out the goodbye email than sending a resentful one.

Goodbyes are sad and hard for most of us. They remind us of our own vulnerability. If there’s any support going from your employer just take it, whether its outplacement support or anything else it will surely help you.

Transitioning relationships from work into other parts of our lives requires a little work but it can happen. It won’t happen automatically though.

If you’re currently working for some big corporate and waiting for the time to be right for you to start living your dreams, let me tell you that the time will never be right. Quitting paid employment and reinventing your life and work will never come if you will not decide.

You have to take courage in both hands and go. There is no right time since everyday is the right time. If you don’t decide now things will not fall into their places. When you make a decision to follow your passion and face every doubt and fear head on, the universe will always conspire to line up circumstances in your favor.

Be honest to yourself on what you wanted out of your time here on Earth. Let the question sink in, start to find the answers and moved forward confidentially. The better approach is to figure out how to bring these elements into your life and value will be created through the positive energy and actions from your intention.

It’s not ghastly to quit corporate world and try something different from what others do. Though everyone is struggling to earn bucks through the ladder of corporate world you may do it the different way. There’s no harm in trying to do what you want and love to do. This will free your mind from the cluttered world of office filing. Doing what you love will boost the free spirit in you and the happiness you once crave for.

However here’s the catch you should do it now, don’t wait for what you think is the right time. Before you knew it you’re at your golden years and you wasted your time in the sides of your cubicle.

" width="300" height="225" />So you work 10 hours a day, plus additional few more hours for overtime. Not to mention those moments when your boss will have to wake you up in the middle of the night just to follow up something on you. And how many times have you missed on an important family gathering? Do you even care flip the pages of newspaper? Have you heard of the term “corporate burnout”? Well, you may not know it, but you might be experiencing one.

You set your goals and believe you have been very good at achieving them. However, your boss doesn’t seem to realize your potentials and strengths. So the least you can do is show him more…push yourself even harder. Just to end up frustrated at the end of the day. Making you more stressed out. This scenario is common among corporate employees like you. Some would dread going to work everyday and would pretend they are still in-love with their jobs just to keep up with their finances. You should not be a victim of “corporate burnout”! You can do something about this. Many people from the same field tried working independently, and they are happy about it. Do you think it’s about time you focus on planning for your own growth?

What are your options?

There are a lot of options available. You just have to know your key strengths and realize your weak points. When you have been immersed for so long in the corporate world, you already have an idea how the business works. So, you can work independently. Now you can unleash your full potential. Working independently means you have more responsibility but more profit later on. If you are determined to be your own boss, you can start a business right away! If you haven’t saved anything yet, you can try financing on banks. There are numerous possibilities for an enthusiastic entrepreneur nowadays. You have to look around and observe what product the public needs or how you can provide better services for them. Remember that problems/difficulties in the community are opprtunity for you to do business. Home based business and online business are widespread nowadays. You might also want to venture out on network marketing since you already know a lot of people from acquaintances from your corporate job.

What are the advantages of quitting your corporate job?

1.	You control your own time . You do not have to wake up early in the morning and beat the traffic jam. You do not have to clock in- clock out. You can work at your own convenience anytime you like.

2.	You are your own boss. Since you are the owner of your own business, all the credits and positive remarks that you reap are all yours. However, you would also have diffiulties and failure along the way, and all the blames would also be on you.

3.	You can go on vacation anytime. You do not have to ask for permission from your supervisor for a paid vacation. You can go anywhere and still monitor your own business. This way you may enjoy your life and be present in every family gatherings.

4.	You become healthier physically and mentally. If you reduce on the unrelenting stress caused by corporate jobs, then you would have a peaceful mind. Thus making you less prone to heart attacks, backaches, anxiety and othe ailments related to stress.

You may have fallen into the trap of thinking the sole point of work is to bring home enough money and to live comfortably. While adequate compensation is important in any job, it’s not the whole story.

To most of us it seems obvious that we work because we have to, because that’s just what you do, that’s what people have always done. However, if we define work chiefly in terms of money-making, we lose the possibility of understanding the deeper dimensions of work.

The real meaning of work and the many ways it can nourish us spiritually, psychologically, emotionally, physically, as well as economically is lost in some point in our lives. If you haven’t answered this question for yourself, then you may find yourself stuck in survival mode. To find meaningful work, you need to know what work means to you.

If you are unsatisfied with what you do every day, it takes a toll on your physical and mental health. You may feel burned out and frustrated, anxious, depressed, or unable to enjoy time at home knowing another workday is ahead. What’s more, if you don’t find your work meaningful and rewarding, it’s hard to keep the momentum going to advance in your career. You are more likely to be successful in a career that you feel passionate about.

Whether you’re leaving the workplace and planning to start a new business or contemplating a career change, the first step to choosing a fulfilling career is to uncover the activities that get you excited and bring you joy.

The most important thing about making meaningful work is that if you are always worried about paying rent, it’s very hard to add goodness back to the rest of the world. Giving back to the world requires a sense of personal well-being and stability that only people who have a roof over their head can manage.

Before we go out into the world to do our work, we need to turn inward and discover what that work might be. It is inside where we begin to make meaning in our lives. It is inside where we meet our deepest longings, our unique gifts, and our truest self. It is inside where we find the twin gifts of purpose and passion that become the core of our working lives.

Every day you feel irritated and annoyed. You don’t know what’s happening to you lately. You feel so tired and exhausted after work. You feel that there’s a problem but you go on and don’t mind it. These feelings of you trap your mind and you can’t focus. What should you do?

Sit back and have a break. Give yourself a little space. It’s time for you to move on and listen to what’s inside you. For so long you let yourself believed that you are on the right path. This is your chosen career so is it?

I guess you are not on the right path. The reason why you feel so tired is because you don’t like what you’re doing. You are looking for something that would make you feel fulfilled. Since, there is something more about you and it is trapped within the boundaries of your job description. You need to unleash your real talents in order for you to grow.

Try to figure out what’s really bugging you, focus on what’s on your mind, because sooner or later it will still haunt you. Understand and listen to your inner critic. Each of us may have set goals and objectives we want to achieve, but are sometimes prevented by negative thoughts, fears, and apprehensions.

Observe what triggers these and learn to overcome them through appropriate measures. You might feel that there’s not much income you can generate from the career that interests you, but understand that career pathing is not always equal to big bucks if you are just starting out.

Sometimes it’s difficult to establish career goals if you’re not really sure what you’d like to do. Careers can be especially tricky at times. A good place to start is some good old self examination. It might be worth asking your friends and family what they think as well. You could also examine people who you know, and consider what their strengths are, and what sorts of roles and industries that they work for.

Secondly, you might also want to look at what sorts of roles, industries, or areas interest you. Looking in the mirror can be painful for some, but it’s important to do otherwise you might not get the most out of your time here on earth. Make sure you’re honest, keep an open mind so you consider all options before you make your decision.
