Continue or Retreat in achieving your dreams

1198416 984778220 Continue or Retreat in achieving your dreamsYou are always thinking about going on your own and be the boss. However this idea of yours keeps on bugging you for so long and until now it is still an idea. Dreams will always be dreams if you just sleep on them and never do something about it. When will you start living on those dreams and realize that they are not only dreams but can be achieved.

People now start on reinventing themselves by starting their own companies or by pursuing long-put-off dreams that include creative or charitable endeavors. While it might seem like a bold move, countless workers believe the abundance of uncertainty in today’s job market mitigates the fear factor. So, the question is, are you one of them? Step up and live your dream start now before its too late.

Your first step in achieving your dreams is goal setting. The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind.  Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat. You’ve got to really, really want to achieve the goal in order for you to live on it.

Identify What You Want. No matter what you want to accomplish in your life, you must first know exactly what you want to achieve in your life. Most people are not clear about what they want that is why they struggle through life just to find out the answer. If you don’t know what you want, you will never achieve it. How can you reach the destination of your heart if you don’t know where it is?

Give yourself a timeline. When can you make your dream happen? In two years? In five years? Are you saying something like “I’d really like to get out of work to have my own company but I’m not yet ready?” Remove the “but” and take chances. Life is a risk just put a timeline on achieving your dream, because without one, it probably won’t happen. When you timeline your goal, you begin taking action in your life to move toward that goal, and you begin saying “no” to whatever is diverting you.

Develop a Success Consciousness, that you will achieve your dreams. It’s a positive pattern of thinking, a great attitude/mind-set to have, which will propel you down the road to success. Think abundance and prosperity and not lack will draw yourself from the Universe.

Achieving your dream is not something complicated. Well, you don’t have to make it complicated, at least. So, will you continue or retreat? The answer is up to you. Achieving what you want is simple, but it is not going to be easy. Maybe you will need to do a small and little work each and every day. Maybe you need to wake up 30 minutes earlier everyday to take the small action.

The action may be simple, but you will need to be persistence enough to make it come true. This is what makes the process not easy.

You can take hold of your life

1171414 852279931 You can take hold of your lifeFeeling upset you feel that as career responsibilities grew, so did your stress and unhappiness. Looking back, you realize that you have invested all of your emotions and time in your job because you really had nowhere else to put it.

The shadow of the corporate veil for so long covered your hopes. Upon realizing that you are trading your freedom to individuals who doesn’t deserve you, you tried to figure out what else has in store for you.

You need not be fooled of the loads of stories that protect the corporate lifestyle. If you want to be continually robbed of your freedoms, well that’s up to you. On the other hand, if you want to know how to avoid the corporate pothole forever, take some time to read on.

Life either happens to us, or we take hold of life and live it. If you’re thinking about declaring your independence from Corporate America get back for your life and start living it.

As long as you possess a transferable set of skills, then you have everything you need to break free. You don’t even have to be an expert at something right now in order to make a career out of it.

If you’re interested in something, you should start learning as much as possible about it from this point forward. Sooner, you’ll be proficient enough to spread your wings.

The essence of it is that, you can do it it’s just a matter of time. You can even be considered as an expert in a particular area. When that time comes then there’s probably more work out there than you alone can handle. The only issue, then, is actually going out and finding all this work.

Fortunately, this is relatively easy, and it gets easier all the time. In the end, you’ll realize that that it doesn’t matter what you’re doing. As long as you are doing something that expresses your passion, you will excel and you will gain satisfaction. Starting something from nothing and watching it grow is deeply rewarding.

Many companies reserve the right to control whether their employees can earn extra income after hours. I strongly believe that you have the right to a life and even revenue streams beyond your cubicle.

You have a right to time of your own to pursue your passions outside of work. We come into life with whatever we’ve got. Stop accepting what lives just give you.  It’s time for you to do something about it . Life isn’t just what happens to you, you could take hold of it.

Goodbye Misery, Welcome Success

470313 356725131 Goodbye Misery, Welcome SuccessWhat’s it like to be successful? What’s the real measurement of it? What are the factors to be considered to be on the group? Three important and essential questions that when answered can give us a clear vision of success that most of us are aspiring for.

A lot of us are actually dreaming of becoming successful into the fields we’ve chosen to be on. But sadly, we cannot be successful without compromising some of our most precious things. I am not being dogmatic but that’s the reality and yes, it bites! I have interviewed a lot of people before who are famous on their respective fields. They shared a lot about their experiences, ups and downs, their business ventures and many others. There is one question that when I usually ask them their reactions were like, silence, just a smile or worse a smirk. This happens when I ask them about their sacrifices or the things they have given up in their lives just to grab that very spark of success.

A lot of us boxed success into the big corporate world. That to be called successful you need to be the CEO or president of a big company, that to be successful you’ve got to have a good position in the company and for that to be possible, you need to spend your time mostly at work.

I’ve interviewed a former banker before who quitted his job after so many years of struggling himself just to reach the position he’d been dreaming of and focused more on internet freelancing. I asked him, “Have you ever regretted that you have quitted your job as a banker and became a freelancer on the internet?” He said, “No!” with a genuine smile on his face. So I asked him again, “So, can you say that you are successful?” and he answered with all dignity, “YES!” and after that he told me his story.

According to him, he’s successful in every aspect of his life. He’s with his family 24 hours a day, 7days a week, 30 days a month and 365 days a year. He can supervise his children growing which is impossible if he needs to go to an office. About his earning, yeah he’s fine. He’s got less expenditure due to the fact that he doesn’t need to pay for the gasoline every day on going to his work because he’s working from home. He has his own time and can attend affairs which he cannot before. In short, being an internet freelancer means you being the boss! Isn’t that what we’ve been dreaming of? I guess yes.

I was so inspired and moved by his story that I was actually thinking of quitting my own job while talking to him that afternoon. I realized a lot of things after that small talk. Being successful is not just a one sided thing, it’s a cube, it’s four-dimensional, it’s tangible and most of all it’s real.

I have one question for you this moment: Are you ready to say ‘Goodbye corporate job?’

The Best Way to Come up to a Wise Decision

856982 940464661 The Best Way to Come up to a Wise Decision When in a gathering, a man was asked by one of the guest; “How can you avail yourself every time there’s an event? Don’t you have a job or business to attend to?”

“Well I can do anything anytime because I’m a freelance writer. I control my own schedule.”

Some of the guests around the table were excited to learn more about freelancing; others envied him especially when he mentioned that he owns his time.  But when he explained that since the nature of the job is freelancing, he has no fixed income, no bonuses, no thirteen month pay and other benefits a regular employed is enjoying, some who showed interest did a second thought.

These and more are some of the things you need to consider if you are planning of leaving your job in the corporation and go freelancing.

Advantages and disadvantages vary from industry to industry. But in general, the above statements are true. When you do freelancing most of the benefits that are awarded to a regular employee might not be available to you. On the other hand, when you double your effort that would mean more income, compared to a regular employment where you depend on overtime or commission only to be able to have an excess to your regular pay slip.

Every individual differ from one another, what is good to you might not be favorable to some. Each one of us has our own unique personality, choice of standard of living and need to fulfill. An intelligent decision must be carried out to be able to come up with a wise conclusion. Weigh all the advantages and disadvantages of each industry and compare them to what you require from a source of living. Depending on your need and lifestyle, skills and capabilities, choose what’s suited for you which you think will bring you success financially.

Defining Victory in Your Career

216364 2324 224x300 Defining Victory in Your CareerGone are the days where a person earning for a living in a decent way is compounded in the four corners of the office, toiling 8 hours a day, following orders from superior and waiting upon the higher officials’ grace to have a promotion. These days where technology is embraced by even the most urban community, bringing in money for the family can be of various kinds. It could be being employed in a corporation or the alternative way; working virtually. Not to mention becoming an entrepreneur. In the past decades, students are working hard to finish their college degree to be able to get a position in one of the prestigious companies known in their country. Being a part of these huge businesses is already an honor and a must be for the students. On the other hand, in this progressive time of ours, most of these kids are preparing themselves to become an entrepreneur after college regardless of their courses.  Because they had seen the limitations while committed in a company and the advantages of having no direct superior to be pleased, they planned to open their own business or becoming a freelance of something.  And those who are already engaged in the corporate world are now leaving their offices either to start a business or work online.

While others may think that young people of today are becoming more ambitious and adventurous, many sees no wrong in these ideas. In fact they are infecting or influencing older generations. Seeing many young people who had been successfully earning through their small businesses, many are encouraged to leave the corporate world and enter entrepreneurship or freelancing. There are company officials who have been in the company for years, yet decided to resign and do the home based jobs.

There’s nothing wrong being ambitious, besides a person who becomes complacent with just the simplest thing though opportunities are available are those who hinder their own success. Victory will only be achieved if one is open to changes, has the ability to recognize opportunities believe in himself and accept his potential and the most important is, the willingness to take the risk. In any area of life, everyone will come to a time where you have to make a decision. Regardless of the number of option, severity of the situation, a risk has to be taken. This shows not only bravery but also willingness to learn and indicates maturity.

When in the edge of making a decision whether to enter the corporate world or leave if you are already there, and going entrepreneur; learning to identify your best break, believing in your own talent, and maximizing your potential will do a great help to lessen if not erase all the risk along the way.
